一、搭配形式

当定语从句中的介词提前至关系代词之前时：

• 先行词指物：只能使用 介词 + which
• 先行词指人：只能使用 介词 + whom
• （不可使用 that 或 who）

二、介词选择的三大依据

1. 依据从句谓语动词的固定介词搭配：
   • The pen with which he wrote the letter. (write with a pen)
   • The boy to whom I gave the present. (give sth to sb)
2. 依据从句中形容词的搭配习惯：
   • The topic in which students are interested. (be interested in)
3. 依据先行词的习惯介词搭配：
   • I still remember the year in which the event took place. (in that year)
   • At the speed at which the aircraft travels. (at a speed of)
