表语从句与因果句式辨析

一、表语从句定义与结构
表语从句置于系动词（be, seem, look, remain）之后，对主语进行解释或说明：
- The truth is that he made an honest mistake.
- Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans.
二、因果句式辨析
| 句型 | 句意 | 逻辑重心 |

| This is because + 从句 | 这是因为…… | 从句为原因，说明前面事情发生的原由 |
| This is why + 从句 | 这就是为什么…… | 从句为结果，说明前面原因导致的结果 |
| The reason is that + 从句 | 原因是…… | 标准书面表达，从句用 that，不可用 because |
- 例：He worked day and night. That is why he passed the exam.（通过考试是结果）
- 例：He passed the exam. That is because he worked hard.（努力是原因）
